Chris Collins is a Los Angeles based cinematographer who has been fortunate enought to film projects around the world.  He began his career in documentaries working as an assistant under Emmy nominated DP Arlene Nelson, Emmy winner Fred Menou, and the production team behind “Parts Unkown with Anthony Bourdain.”  He had the priviledge of operating on the Oscar winning documentary “Twenty Feet from Stardom” for director Morgan Neville and “Sunset Strip” featuring Johnny Depp, Sharron Osbourne, Hugh Hefner, and Mickey Rourke, among many others.  Recently, he filmed the docu-series 30 Days With Ryan Garcia leading up to his historic fight with Olympic gold medal champion Luke Campbell.  He is currently filming a follow-up docuseries with Ryan called “The Fight Inside” which confronts ways in which the boxer combats his mental health issues.  

Chris has worked in remote villages off the grid in West Africa to favelas in Rio de Janeiro to cartel strongholds in Sinaloa.  Each project has shaped his world view and shooting style. Chris’ films have won multiple awards and screened at BFI London Film Festival, International Film Festival Rotterdam, San Francisco International Film Festival, and many more.  Chris looks forward to the opportunity to capture new stories in a visually compelling way to captivate any audience.
